LUMISAN ("us", "we", or "our") uses cookies on (the "Service" or the “Site”). By using the Service, you consent to the use of cookies.

This Privacy section explains our Cookies Policy. It discusses what cookies are, how we use cookies, how third-parties we may partner with may use cookies on the Service, your choices regarding cookies and further information about cookies.

Why do cookies exist?

You may or may not know that cookies are quite essential to your web browsing experience. But what exactly are cookies? Cookies are small pieces of text, often encrypted, sent by your web browser by a website you visit. As a result, a cookie file is stored in your web browser and allows the Service or a third-party to recognize you when you come back to the same website. The purpose of cookies is to make your next visit easier and ensures a well-functioning website for your use.

Duration of the cookies

Cookies can be "persistent" or "session" cookies.

Persistent cookies are stored on your device to help remember your information, your settings, your preferences or anything you have previously saved on the website. This helps us to provide you a faster website. Also, it tracks your ‘movement’ on our website and this way we can improve your experience on our website the next time you visit us! F.e. Google Analytics cookies, those are first-party cookies that help you f.e. to show you more relevant ads.

Session cookies allow you to be recognized within a website. Synonyms for session cookies are ‘non-persistent cookies’ or ‘temporary cookies’. As a consequence, the website will adapt to the page changes you made earlier or it will remember the item or data selection you already made. These cookies are active as long as the browser remains active and they disappear after closing the browser. F.e. these cookies remember what you already added to your shopping cart.

Provenance of the cookies

There are two types of origins of cookies: first-party cookies and third-party cookies. First-party cookies are the ones that are put on your device directly by us. Third-party cookies are, in addition to our own cookies, placed on your device by a third party like an advertiser or an analytic system. Those are cookies to report usage statistics of the Service, to deliver advertisements on and through the Service, and so on.

Why would you allow us to use cookies?

When you use and access the Service, we may put some cookies files in your web browser. You can control and manage cookies in various ways. Please keep in mind that removing or blocking cookies can negatively impact your user experience and parts of our website may no longer be fully accessible.

Most browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can choose whether or not to accept cookies through your browser controls, often found in your browser’s “Tools” or “Preferences” menu. For more information on how to modify your browser settings or how to block, manage or filter cookies can be found in your browser’s help file or through such sites as

Additionally, please note that blocking cookies may not completely prevent how we share information with third parties such as our advertising partners. To exercise your rights or opt-out of certain uses of your information by these parties, please follow the instructions in the “Behavioural Advertising” section above.
